Commitment To Our Communities

Community

Building stronger communities, together.

We value the relationships we build in each of the 22 communities we live and work in. We support organizations that promote agriculture, we encourage our employees to volunteer in their communities and actively support our youth throughout Wisconsin and the UP.

Internships and Scholarship Programs
Agriculture is often overlooked as a career choice of recent high school graduates throughout the United States. In order to promote the diverse options for students we promote the diversity of positions available within agriculture, and specifically, here at Insight FS. As part of our commitment to our communities, we offer internships and scholarship opportunities to local students with interest in a career in agriculture. Yearly we hire interns to work at Insight FS in a variety of positions, from agronomy to energy and feed. We also offer 10 - $1,500 scholarships to full-time area students. Look up one of our internship here, or apply for a scholarship here

Volunteer Program
Our employees share a strong commitment to giving back to the communities where they live and work. Because of this, we encourage volunteerism and help employees build stronger communities using their time and talents. All of our full-time employees receive one paid working day to volunteer in their community with a non-profit. They can choose to volunteer with any non-profit organization based on their preference. Most recently, a group of employees chose to assist in cleaning up after unprecedented flooding throughout Wisconsin.
Insight FS Foundation
The Insight FS Foundation was established in 2015 to administer funding to charitable organizations and activities that benefit our communities. We also sponsor scholarships through the Foundation to promote ongoing agricultural education.
Emergency Response Training Drills
At Insight FS we work closely with our fire fighters and emergency response teams to prepare for accidents or issues that may arise at any of our locations or at our customer's businesses. We train fire and rescue, police and employees to respond quickly and accurately to farm accidents. We have worked with teams on grain rescue and farm accident training. We also work with local and state agencies on anhydrous ammonia training to increase awareness and response efforts.

Farm Bureau
Insight FS has a long-standing affiliation with the Farm Bureau. Members who are agricultural producers and patrons of Insight FS are eligible to receive patronage when patronage is paid. We, along with GROWMARK, value our relationship with the Wisconsin and Michigan Farm Bureau Federation going back to the days when Farm Bureau first helped form our cooperative. We are actively involved and continue to support the organization and our patrons. You can join Wisconsin Farm Bureau here or Michigan Farm Bureau here.
